The 2026 World Influenza Conference (WIC) is co-organized by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association (CPMA) and the Asia-Pacific Alliance for the Control of Influenza (APACI), with the support of prestigious domestic and international institutions. The conference will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, from June 26 to 28, 2026.

The conference will center on the theme Beyond Influenza: Holistic frameworks for mitigating diverse respiratory threats, aiming to facilitate in-depth academic exchanges on influenza and other acute respiratory infectious diseases, share cutting-edge research findings and practical prevention and control experiences, and strengthen global collaboration to advance preparedness and response for emerging and re-emerging respiratory threats.
