Abstracts Submission
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
To further promote the comprehensive prevention and control of influenza and other acute respiratory infectious diseases, enhance international and domestic academic exchange, and advance preparedness for emerging and re-emerging respiratory infectious diseases,the 2026 World Influenza Conference (WIC) on June 26-28, 2026, in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Under the theme Beyond Influenza: Holistic Frameworks for Mitigating Diverse Respiratory Threats, which reflects the conference’s forward-looking vision to progress beyond single-disease approaches and advocate for integrated, systemic strategies against a spectrum of respiratory pathogens.
The 2026 WIC welcomes the submission of abstracts for original contributions to the relevant field. We encourage work that introduces new ideas, concepts and research and deepens understanding in the field.

Important dates
·15 May 2026 (11:59 PM CST): Abstract submission closes. Abstracts will not be accepted and modified after this date.
General rules for abstract submission
·All abstracts must be submitted online through the abstract submission system by the deadline given above. Submissions by fax, post or email will not be considered.
·All abstracts must be written in English.
·It is the authors’ responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author.
·The final decision whether an abstract is accepted as a poster or oral presentation, or even rejected, will be made by the 2026WIC.

Review Process and Notifications of Acceptance:
·All abstracts submitted to the 2026 WIC will undergo peer review by the Conference Academic Committee after the submission closes.
·The notification of acceptance, including the presentation details, will be sent to the presenting author’s e-mail address.
